He moves before dawn settles, laying fresh snow to hide the true paths and melting only enough ice for safe passage. His warmth seals the forest’s edges, guarding the living weave where the Realm thins. Where winter bites too sharply, he leaves quiet heat; where the land is threatened, he restores its hush. He is the embered fox of the northern edge, revealing the way only to those who honour the wild’s fragile borders.
