It’s our Christmas Show at Ledbury Market Place! For two days the Guild of Herefordshire Craftsmen have been setting up lots of handmade and unique items for the annual festive show.
My job has been putting up the Christmas decorations (after I took the photos – doh!) which could have gone so very wrong as they were hung on overhead beams AFTER everyone had put their displays up (lots of glass and breakables, ooh er!) For a couple of hours I was pretty sure I would destroy something but thankfully it all went well! As you can see I took lots of photos as setting up went along and even managed to persuade a few members to pose (they were all feeling very Christmas spirited I think!) See a previous Ledbury Exhibition
Grahame Tucker – Sculptures in wood and Antony Halls – Sculpture and jewellery in resin (along with Alison Payne who had mysteriously disappeared at this point!)
Angela Thoo – Sculptures and jewellery in metal
Mariana Pavlova – Fused glass
If you scroll on down you can see some more of the arts and crafts on display. We are there until December 18th with all of us taking turns at stewarding so someone arty is always available if you fancy browsing or a chat but only if you bring tea and biscuits!)
As you can see there’s a huge variety of items to suit all budgets and tastes (I didn’t manage to photograph everything either). If you are in Ledbury, do pop by, we are open from 10am to 4.30pm everyday plus it’s a magnificent building to visit. If you see something here you like but won’t get chance to visit, pop over to the Guild of Herefordshire Craftsmen’s website which has all the contact details for each individual (plus if you are a Herefordian and want to know more about joining you can find all the info here)
