Decide the size of your portrait, ensure your art is perfect. Read below about suitable sizes for groups and single subject portraits, find out if a full background is possible.

Decide which medium you require, a classic graphite portrait or brilliant life like vibrant colour. Either option will bring your pet or chosen animal to life. 


Paypal is my prefered payment method but Google Checkout is also an available option.

Sizes

Full body portraits and head/shoulder portraits are the same price.

6" x 8" and 8" x 10" sizes are suitable for a single head/shoulders portrait and are too small for a detailed background.

For multiple subjects sizes 10" x 12" and above are suitable.

Sizes quoted are inside the mount size so the finished portrait will be considerably larger.

There are additional charges for full backgrounds and extra subjects.

No extra costs for mount and insured postage (value up to £500) or mount and frame (collected portraits only)

£50 deposit is required for each portrait (I will email Paypal or Google Checkout invoices to you) regardless of size

Mediums

Colour Pencil Portraits from photos reveal astonishing accuracy and depth. The use of colour pencils is still very uncommon and is a stunning alternative to paints which do not always do justice to a subject as fine detail is lost within brush strokes. I use Derwent soft colour pencils, these pencils have a soft waxy or oily base which creates an almost oil painting quality but much much more detailed. 

Graphite Pencil Portraits from photos are highly detailed pieces of art. Fine detail is captured with each pencil stroke. The sheen of fur is captured wonderfully with this medium. This is the original portrait medium and still a firm favourite.
