Snoop's pet portrait is in colour on drafting film, this support is amazing and I really love it. It suits my technique down to the ground. The drafting film does not allow layering so each hair has to be placed individually and colour choice is especially important as no further layers can be added to alter the colour, therefore I work section by section rather than layer by layer.

I enjoy working on the eyes as they really give a pet portrait life and a more realistic quality. Snoop has very bright eyes which I think I captured quite well here. I also like adding collars which I think creates a natural end point to head and shoulders portrait.
