Payment Terms...

Portrait commissions will be accepted without any deposit however, your order will need to be agreed before it is added to my work list. Once you have approved the portrait, you will need to pay, you can do this in full or in installments but the portrait will not be delivered until all balances have been full paid and cleared. Prints, gift certificates, greetings cards and non-commissioned artwork must be paid for in full at the time of ordering. All orders must be paid for using Paypal, local orders can be paid for with cash on collection and UK orders can be paid with cheques or postal orders made out to Karie-Ann Jones

Portrait Prices...

Prices are as per current published portrait price list on my website regardless of any older business cards or leaflets you may have. For non-standard painting commissions, I will quote the client and this will be the payment required.

Time Scale...

An anticipated date of completion will be given at the time of ordering. Whilst every effort will be made to meet this, it should not be regarded as an absolute guarantee. I keep a log of commissions allowing about 4 weeks to complete each one, this is as I usually have an assortment of commissions being worked at any one time so if you need your commission for a specific date please order early remembering that from September to December is my busiest time so if you want a commission in time for Christmas, order it as soon as possible as there is also Christmas post to consider.

Postage...

UK postage is now free and comes with postal insurance up to the value of £500 and with tracking to ensure the safe delivery of the portrait. Items to any UK mainland delivery address will also be by assured next day delivery provided someone is available to sign for the portrait. Due to the expense of international postage, some charges will apply. Please read the prices page for current costings

Amendments...

The client is able to make suggestions to a pet portrait which will be carried out at no extra charge, however if these alterations deviate from the original commission an additional charge may be made to the client. No amendments will be made once the portrait has been approved.

Guarantee...

If you are not completely satisfied with the finished portrait, you are not required to make any payment and the portrait will remain my property.
If after receiving your portrait you want a refund, you will be charged a fee of 60% of the full price but this will not be refunded until the portrait has been returned to Art by Karie-Ann and the client assumes all postage costs. This should not happen though as you will have approved your portrait prior to it's despatch

Portraits Gift Certificates...

Certificates have no expiry date but are redeemed at the rates applicable at the time of surrender. Gift certificates are not exchangeable for cash but can be put towards a higher priced portrait commission provided the difference is paid.
