What I offer...
A personal one to one service, be it by email, telephone or in person. My reputation for customer care is secured by my service which is second to none. Many of my clients return time and time again, telling their friends and family and so expanding my base of satisfied customers.
I will produce an accurate portrait. I can portray your pet in detail but your image must be detailed. I will not accept a commission with poor reference images, unfortunately if I cannot see enough detail I cannot produce the portraits you expect. I will also not be able to make your pet look younger than in the images, just send me an image of you pet in it's younger days instead! I cannot change it's position nor produce a colour pet portrait using a black and white photo. I will not make false promises just to secure a commission as the finished product will not be to my high standards. However, I do guarantee to reproduce your image accurately as a piece of art which can be treasured for years to come.
If you place your order and I am unable to accommodate your delivery date I offer gift certificates instead, these are professional looking certificates, brochures and matching cards which can be either posted or downloaded immediately, ideal for that last minute gift.
Decide what you want portrayed...
How many subjects would you like portrayed? Size restrictions apply: the more subjects, the larger you will need your portrait to ensure enough detail is maintained. See here for more details
Decide which medium you would like, graphite or colour pencil.
See examples of each in the galleries
Decide how much you would like to pay, there are additional costs for extra subjects (head and shoulders portraits cost the same as a full body portrait) and for detailed backgrounds to be added.
Read my price information page to help you with your choices.
All payments can be made online using two secure payment gateways, either Paypal or Google Checkout. Unfortunately I am unable to take any other methods unless you are local to me (Ross-on-Wye, HFDS) and would like to pay cash.
Your images...
Ensure your images are suitable for use, images must be your own as copyright laws cannot be broken, also the quality of the image is vital. To ensure any photographs you are taking are detailed enough, read through my guide for taking the perfect shot.
Pets and animals are difficult subjects to photograph and my guide contains tips and tricks to help you. You can send images via email
Place a commission order...
Once you are ready to place your order you may do so here on the commission form. This will outline all of your requirements such as size, medium, delivery etc. This will ensure your portrait arrives with you safely and in time just as you would like it. I will confirm your order request. Alternatively you can email your order details
I do require a deposit to confirm each commission, until this has been paid (£50 or the equivilent currency) no commission will be undertaken. Deposits can be made via Paypal or Google Checkout. Both are secure payment gateways and ensures your card details are safe.
Work in Progress...
Each portrait will be shown during it's creation on my blog, here visitors and clients alike are able to inspect my work and can make comments and suggestions to ensure the portrait is perfect. If this service is not required I can email regular updates.
Completed Portraits...
Once the final approval is received from the client, any outstanding balances are due before the portrait can be sent or collected again using Paypal or Google Checkout invoices sent by email to you or by cash on collection.
Posted portraits are carefully packed with many layers of protection to ensure they are safely delivered. Posted portraits are sent by Royal Mail with insured delivery up to a value of £500. I use Royal Mail Track and trace services for UK deliveries and Royal Mail Airsure for overseas deliveries so you can follow your portrait's progress as it travels to you. You will be notified of you tracking code as soon as it is posted.
Collected portraits will be framed in lieu of postage.
